Dyad

Dyad is an abstract interpretation of movement both physically and psychologically. Inspired and based on ‘Untitled Yellow Reflection’, a painting by abstract painter Nestor Toro, it represents movement in a deeper sense through a transformative sonic encounter using visuals triggered by sound.

Made up entirely of sound textures recorded with a string quartet, the music triggers the animated movements within the video. The visuals were made from scratch by piecing shapes, colours and patterns together.
